First real official Hair Cut

I took Anthony this weekend for his first official hair cut. We have tried to trim it a couple of times and Mamaw Teresa cut some at Christmas but this was official his first trip to the salon!!

It was a cute place just for kids they had a barbie jeep for the girls and race cars for the boys as well as games for them to play.

Here is the before picture

WOW!! Look at that handsome man!!

He did ok, I hope he gets better he knew something was up when I put him in the car - I ended up having to sit him in my lap in a chair but that was ok. We had fun then went to Target shopping for supplies and toys!!

My worker

Anthony loves lots of things, but he really loves brooms, mops, rakes, etc. Weekend before last we went on a few farm calls with Tony and Anthony found a small rake and scooper that we had to carry around the entire farm.

The next day we went to Lowe's to get a few things for the house and what does he find - well first he ran to some post hole diggers but then Tony spotted a kids rake so through the entire Lowe's store here we go with the rake...everyone that we past would laugh and say is your mom going to put you to work raking the yard. He would just laugh and say HEY - one couple that we pasted more than a couple of times went to the check-out Anthony starts walking over to them says bye then turns around and keeps on walking dragging the rake behind him.

John Deere

Look at this big boy at school!

Anthony pulled this John Deere bucket out of his room and decided he wanted to sit in it!

As if he doesn't have enough stuff laying around!

Running

This past weekend we drove over to Justin, TX. Tony needed some new work boots so we went to the Justin Boot store. Anthony had the best time!! He ran around the warehouse and had everyone laughing. It was so cold outside it was nice to let him get some of his energy out!

This first video he is walking away from what he really wants to do......

this video he is in full run mode trying to get in the store room....and he does. We played this game for a while. I was keeping him out then I decided to see what he would do when I videoed this....look at that smile when he runs past me.

He was so proud!

Pantry

Jayme Garrett made this pantry for Anthony to play with out of her recyclables! Several of the guys she works with helped her put it all together! Too cute!!

Just Playing

Random photos taken of Anthony playing.

Ruger loves boxes

How sweet...both laying down for a nap!!

Hey!

Mowing the carpet with spoon in hand!

Snow in Texas....Again!

Well we finally got snow...again! This time it started snowing about 6:00 am and went on throughout the night....that's right! RECORD SNOW FALL. At DFW they reported 12 inches...we probably got that much here but the ground was warm so a lot melted as it started falling. We had a great time. Anthony loves the snow as much as Tony he would get mad if we had to come inside to warm up.

We went over to Pat and Jayme's house and they rode the gator with Anthony and then pulled the big boys knee boarding with the gator!

Let's build a snowman!!

Let's knee board! You have to watch this video...it's Tony knee boarding behind the farm gator.

Dori's Visit

My good friend Dori from Florida came to visit a couple of weeks ago - we had a great visit with her. We even had one day of nice weather! It has been so cold, rainy, just down right blah not sure about everyone else but I'm ready from spring!

Anthony is doing really good - growing like a weed! We spend most of our time trying to chase him down. As you can tell it's been awhile since my last update - it's hard to run and take pictures at the same time - HA.

Here are a few with Dori - she was over run with Anthony, Dixie, and Ruger! Anthony wanted to sit on the couch or rather climb on the couch with Dori. Dixie wanted any and everything Dori had to eat (not surprising to anyone I know) and Ruger just wanted to sit in her lap the entire time (which he hardly ever sits in mine). Come back anytime - maybe next time Freddie will come.

Not sure how Dori got Anthony to sit still to read a book!

Treats for Dixie! Dixie ALWAYS loved staying with Freddie and Dori when we went out of town in Florida because Dori always has lots of treats and toys to play with!

And Dixie didn't forget!! I think she was even looking around for Dori's dogs.

Good Stuff!

Look at these two the next morning - having our coffee and milk!
