We received a great report! Anthony's blood levels are great! His creatinine has gone down even more. There is only one level that is a little low - His TCO2 level is on the low side and if it continues to be low (will check it again in 6 months) then we will have to add some bicarbonate to his formula but the doctor said that was real easy to manage. This just means that his kidney it's not able to balance all of the acid, but that the kidney itself is working great!!!
We are so relieved.
On the ultrasound, the ultrasonographer thought he found a kidney stone. The Nephrologist doesn't believe it. He says that in small babies it's usually a fat pocket and in his 20 years of practice he has only seen one baby this young actually have a stone and that baby had metabolic problems, which is the cause of kidney stones in babies. So he feels very strong that with the way Anthony is growing and how healthy he looks, happy, etc. etc. that it is just fat. We will do a repeat ultrasound in 6 months to recheck and/or if his condition changes then we would bring him back in before then!!
Such a miracle!! We are so blessed.

YEAH!!! I'm so glad the report was a good one. Thanks for keeping us all updated. Did you and the movers make it without an arrest? (haha). Good luck getting everything moved and put up. If you need help I'm just a few hours away and I have a bunch of vacation time I could use. Love ya
