Christmas in Osceola

We had a great Christmas. We left Tuesday night and drove through the night.. Anthony slept the entire way! We arrived at my parents house around 3:30 in the morning.

We spent Christmas Eve visiting several friends of the family and attended Church that night. Christmas morning the family arrived, lots of food and tons of presents were opened. Here are some pictures of our week.

Of course everyone loved getting to see Anthony for the first time.

We drove to Wilson to visit Gamma K, Linda, and Denise at my mothers store.

Then we had to go by Lee Bowles liquor store.

Carol, Justin, and Anthony. We were so glad you joined us for Christmas!!!

My niece Mallory playing with some of her presents.

My nephew Will opening more presents. It was so funny when he opened the gift we gave him. He said I can't wait to open this... they always give good presents.... only to be let down by a toy he already received. It's bound to happen with so many gifts.

Gamma K what is so funny.

My cousin Rita helping Will open his presents.

Friday night several of my parents friends came by to visit

I went to bed early, then woke up sick as a dog. Still not over it....now I'm afraid Anthony is trying to get it!! I have a wonderful husband that has been taking good care of both of us.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas.
I received an email from a good friend of mine that said something like this... it's not about the gifts we receive but the time spent with family and friends that really matters. It's true. When we sit around and visit with family and friends we don't remember the gifts but we do remember the good and bad times together. (Although I still remember when I got a moped and my brother wanted to drive it around and wrecked it within the hour - now it's funny to laugh about it). So as the year comes to a close lets remember how blessed we are and not to take anything or anyone for granted.
Have a Happy and Safe New Year.
