August

Since Austin's baptism -it has been a blur! Really...again! I celebrated my 40th birthday! I survived. Our great friends Trish and Seth kept the boys while Tony and I went out to a really nice restaurant in Denton and had a great meal. We laughed and talked it was really a nice night out - just the two of us - we don't do it enough. Enough about me - Austin celebrated his 8 month birthday - he has two front bottom teeth - can sit and stand (while holding onto something) and is trying to take some steps around the coffee table. He still doesn't make many different sounds but hoping that comes soon. Loves almost everything I have feed him and wants to eat what we are eating! Super cute of course and usually in the best of moods. The week before school started Tony took the day off and we all went to Hurricane Harbor waterpark. Had a great time together - Austin enjoyed the lazy river and then the stroller for a nap! Anthony started Kindergarten - praying for a great school year. Labor Day weekend! We packed up and headed to Hot Springs, AR where we celebrate in style at Aunt Carol's wonderful house with the million dollar view! I counted 52 people but maybe more if I missed someone. We started getting together as a family when Anthony turned 1. With the problems we faced with Anthony's health and how well he did that first year with absolutely no problems at all and thank God still no problems to this day we just wanted to get everyone together so we could celebrate life! It has grown and grown every year and I believe this was the biggest yet - it's now a huge friends and family reunion! It was a blast and all the kids seemed to have a great time and all got along very well. Anthony's 6th birthday at school the teacher gave him some goodies and a hat - Austin and I went and had lunch with him and that night he had Karate lessons and his choice of dinner - McDonalds :(. This past saturday we had a few of Anthony's friends over and had a pokemon birthday party. Tony set up a huge homemade slip and slide - cooked hot dogs, chips, watermelon and cupcakes! All the boys had a great time between riding the 4wheeler - slip n slide - trampoline - and pool! Now for picture overload! And I think I'm caught up!

Austin's Baptism

Here are a few pictures from Austin's Baptism yesterday - 8/10/14

Summer 2014

wow - Our Summer has been a great one as you can tell from my lack of posting - it's easier to keep a few post on Facebook posted than to keep up the Blog - which I do love to do because I have it printed out in book form for keepsake books! Here is a rundown of what we have done. Anthony graduated from Pre-k and received the best manners award from Mrs. Watkins - YEA! The first two weeks after school Anthony had swim lessons then we went to Heber Springs and took a much needed mini short vacation with my parents on Greers Ferry Lake. Came back home and spent the 4th of July just catching up on the farm duties and relaxing. Then Vacation Bible School for a week - took a week off - went to the waterpark in Denton with Tony- then our great friends visited for a few days and Anthony had gymnastics camp that whole week and went to the waterpark with them. Oh, I forgot Tony and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary the same day our good friends Trish and Seth Taylor were married and Anthony also started Karate once a week - somewhere in all of that! We just came back from Camden - had most of the family together and Austin was Baptised with David and Susan Mencer as his Godparents - it was a great service and so glad for all who attended. We have done our back to school supply shopping - got a new school haircut and new shoes -now just a couple of more weeks before Anthony starts Kindergarten! I will also mention now as I am still 39 ;) but the big 40 is coming up this weekend - WHAT! not really possible as I still feel like I am in my late 20's. I may have missed a few things here and there but that's what we have been doing. I hope everyone that reads this has had a wonderful summer and pray that everyone is doing well. May God continue to bless us all.

Austin at 7 months

OK, so these have been the hardest so far to take. As you can probably tell from the pictures - we have a crawler on our hands. He learned how to sit up and crawl in about a weeks time - now these past two weeks since taking these pictures he is FAST! And now can pull up on some objects and stand on his feet.
