Wow, Tony and I were talking last night that it seems like she should only be 7 or 8 not 15 that's crazy. We both still remember the night we picked her up - we actually went to pick out a yellow male lab and the owners of the facility let out this chocolate female lab that was the last of the litter and ready to go - the yellow lab puppies were only 2 weeks old and most had not even open there eyes yet which made it hard to pick one out but we went inside the house to put our deposit down on one of the puppies. Well the little chocolate lab followed us inside the house and just kept looking up and us just sitting there so still so of course we said we will just take this one - we didn't even have all the money to pay for her we left the deposit and mailed the rest to them. Dixie as we named her has been with us ever since - always by our side and now by Anthony's side. Happy Birthday Dixe and Happy New Year!!!
