Thanksgiving 2011

Take a look at this bunch....three great guys!

Pappy, Tony, and Uncle Jim

Having a good time visiting and playing

Pappy and Uncle Gordon are laughing about something....

When we got home Anthony had a present in the mail. He loves getting mail by the way.....our mail goes to a post office on MSU campus so they put a slip in our box...Anthony marches right up to the counter and hands the slip over! They all know him by name....too funny!

Well he got a present from his Great Aunt Carol! An Advent Calendar!!!!!! I had to beg her to make one for him...well not really but I did ask really nice. I'm not sure how long it took her to make it but WOW! It is gorgeous! This pictures does not do it the justice it needs!! All hand stitched and she even had to sew the back on because she doesn't have a sewing machine...well it is probably packed away somewhere while her house is getting remodeled.

Love it...Love it...Love it.... Anthony will be able to hand this down to his family for years to come!!!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have so much to be Thankful for in our daily lives sometimes we are just too busy to realize just how lucky we are!

Thank you Lord for all of your many blessings!!

Flood mark

When I took this picture I was just taking it of the inside and didn't notice that you could actually see the water mark on the back wall! Wow! It's hard to believe that the water was up that high.

Island 82

Here we are.....Anthony's first trip to Island 82
Quick break for something to eat...cookies!!

We drove around on the 4-wheeler looking at everything since the big flood. Here we are on the sand dike.

Anthony shooting his gun with Tony's help

Writing in the sand

Throwing rocks in the Mississippi River!!

Digging

What a cool Tree

I don't believe Anthony is afraid of heights like his daddy is.....what do you think?

Just having fun...

Waiting to load on the barge..

Helping Papaw get across the river.....Papaw is scared to cross but looks like Anthony loves it!!

Papaw is keeping a close eye on Anthony

Playing in the dirt again one more time before we head home

On our way.......we were on the way maybe 100 yards before we fell asleep!!

We had a great time....Anthony had a lot of first times on this trip........

First time.....Crossing over on the barge.....on Island 82......shooting his gun.....sleeping in the cabin.....in his dad and papaw's deer stand......coon hunting.... with many many more to come!

If a good time is measured in how much dirt one person can get in....then Anthony had a terrific time!

Go Dawgs!
Wow! What big paws you have...

We had a great time watching the parade and getting lots of beads and candy. After the parade we played on the bouce houses and Anthony got his picture taken with Bully the mascot. Anthony kept looking at those big paws holding him!

Country Pumpkins

Love this pumpkin patch.....we had a great time with all of our friends!

Jumping in the cotton trailer

Wow! He looks so grown up in this picture with his leg kicked up on the wall!!

Almost 3 1/2 feet tall!

Loved the corn box!

Wanted to go all the way in but it was so dark! So he went in the exit as far as he could see then turned around and ran out!

Getting ready for the hay ride

Trying to get a picture of us together......good luck!

Got it!
